Less than 1/4 tank of fuel????..My money is still on the condition of the batteries and cables..So many things in these coaches that just stop working. There should be a class on how to use a meter......Dennis

Have you tried starting at the genset? Remote cable could be disconnected.
Make and model of genset?
Blown control fuse?

yes the battery...
The generator DOES NOT directly charge the battery or provide 12 volts.
Onan (At least do not know about others) uses a 12 volt electric fuel pump.

Now if the battery goes dead. no fuel. no crank no light.

So how does the generator charge the battery (What is the suspect)

Well the generator provides 120VAC to the house,. same as shore power... So the Converter charges the battery when generator is running, or at least it is supposed to, Same as when on shore power.

Are the house lights dim does the ceiling fan run properly? IF these are not working properly for sure the converter has an issue.

Possible issues include a 120 volt breaker tripped. Loose wire or screw, blown fuses on the converter (These will be on the converter itself if it's not part of the power panel if it is they are likely the fuses on the right) and finally a well toasted converter.

Depending on how the Generator is wired the battery Disconnect may be the issue as well. In this case the interior lights will not work at all.

I'll get my Johnny Carson Karnack hat out of the attic. I'll be right back.

KARNACK SAYS.....BUY A VOLT METER. Check the battery. Check the starter solenoid. Check the ignition switch. Look for loose connections. check oil level. won't start/run with low oil.

Do you have a meter to check battery voltage?
Do you have a portable charger you can put on the battery?
Do you have a store to purchase these items?
