Pledge

I just talked to a full timer and he said he uses Pledge on his 5th wheel slide seals and awnings. Anyone else heard of this or do it ?

Motorcycle seat? Why would you want to slide around on that seat at 80mph?

I sure do remember that! Made them look great! Also remember that Transmission fluid was the "Tire Black" of that time!
Also remember buying a white letter paint stick for the tires!

In the early 70s we used Johnson liquid floor wax on auto vinyl tops. It was half the cost and just as good. For those who remember vinyl tops haha.

Pledge, we used it on our molded plastic snowmobile hoods. Made them nice and shiny.

Its an old sprint car trick. Keeps the mud off the cars. Makes clean up a snap!

I started using baby powder and an old sock...

I now use pledge, or dollar store generic furniture polish..

It works awesome !
