Make sure that slope around the entire house is away from the house
It is.
If need be consider gutters and down spouts.
We have them and the water is directed away from the house, which is why we are puzzled.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be Douglas Adams
RV-less for now but our spirits are still on the open road.

If the top brickmoulding on the door wasn't flashed you could actually have water coming in at the top of the brickmoulding.
It will then run down the sides of the jambs and show up on the floor inside as a leak.
Eventually you will start to see tell tale signs of water stains on the head jamb and also usually where the door casing is nailed to the head jamb inside the house.
We really, really, need photos.
FYI, I have been a dedicated residential door contractor for over 25 years.

Often water will run down the foundation wall, to the level that dirt was not disturbed, or to the footing. Then move at that level and if may show at that level. Walk around the house. Anyplace the ground does not slope away from foundation, remove the vegetation, and build the ground level with dirt, preferably clay, and compact it. Make sure no water can run towards the foundation.
