Imagine yourself being stuck in the middle of nowhere, it's Oct 22, you call the nearest CW Service Dept, and they tell you, "we can only accommodate and schedule you on Dec. 20."

I responded: "Excuse me, but I don't think I'll be alive by then."

I should be consoled, I am at home and my RV is in storage when I called.

Two years ago, I was on travel and the Service Dept can only see me after a week -- and no accommodations or mercy when I pleaded I am on the road... blah, blah, blah...

To think, just a week ago, I was complimenting and commending CW's insurance, sales and finance departments.

I guess, the customer service culture has no seeped in yet to the whole of CW.

For benchmark, how is this for comparison with Toyota when my lights went out while in Zion? Called their service department about my situation, I was told that they can accommodate me anytime with this emergency. Toyota asked that I have an option to have a tow truck or, since my truck is drivable, drive it myself early morning the following day where it's safe to drive without lights. After 30 minutes at their service center, all's well and I was back on the road.

You could always "cash in" and open an RV repair business.

Hope springs eternal!

I've been lucky twice actually (see my two commendations -- for 4 CW staff).

1 out of 3 -- or I may just be pushing my luck.

But seriously, I want CW to provide these prompt service consistently all over their departments.

And you'll all agree, service department is the most critical -- should you find yourself needing their service pronto when you are far from home and in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks Ella -- again!

Please read above. I wish I always should be commending CW staff, as per my latest, Dear Marcus posts.

And if I could dream, again read above, that CW Service Department will be promptly responsive in case of emergencies when I'm in the middle of nowhere traveling with my CW-bought RV.

Fortunately, this case is non emergency but I'm still amazed at the wait-time.

Best regards,

Well that is for them to look at it not sure I would expect it to be fixed
I took my trailer in for some work. Took a couple months to get in which was late October. Then I get a call about needing to order parts from jayco. It was finally fixed and ready to be picked up mid May of the following year. Only took six months after I got it in for the repair to be completed. Oh yeah I got all kinds of excuses from cw. What I didn’t get was any sort of prompt repair or customer service not even so much as a sorry it took so long

With that kind of customer service, I wonder how they stayed in business.

That's why for every small things, I DIY -- and study how things work.
