Towing a VW Rabbit

Does anyone out there have any idea on what I can do to tow an 83 VW Rabbit cabriole. I've looked at Blue Ox and they have a system but it only works on models made in the USA. The problem is foreign made models have the turn signals located in front bumper. I can't seem to locate even a tow bar that will work. HELP!
