Avria software updater

I installed the free Avria software updater and it scanned and found eight out of date softwares. When I clidked update it just takes me to their ad for the Avria Pro. Am I doing something wrong?

Downloading Avria was the first thing wrong. You don't need it.

freeware that identifies a real or imagined problem, payware that "solves" the problem. take a pass. most legitimate software applications will have a "check for update" option in the 'help' menu.
