Would the prodigy wireless brake controller be a good choice for the electric brakes on my trailer?
Looks like the right choice to me, but I am a novice at this

I know nothing about the wireless Prodigy, didn't even know they made one but I had a DP/Freightliner and wired up a Prodigy for a 20' enclosed trailer, was easy once I found the wiring harness under the dash.

I used the Tekonsha 9030 Voyager Electronic Brake Control for my Freightliner chassis as I tow a 16 ft car hauler and didn't see the need for a more expensive one.

To me a lot would depend on the size of the trailer in relationship to the quality of the controller. I am by far no expert as my brake controllers were installed by the dealership. I asked for the least expensive ones for my tow dolly. When I had a 5th wheel the quality was a little better as I was stopping more with less.
