Forum access seems to be blocked from outside North America, but can be accessed via a VPN

Is this deliberate?

I haven't studied geography in many years, John, but I'm pretty sure I recall that MI is still in North America. [emoticon]

My point exactly Dutch.. Now it may make a difference which portal you use. I use RV.net most of the time.

But as I said. I"m logged in from Davison. MI. USA, North America, Terra, SOl System, Milkey way, Galaxy. Universe

(I sometimes go a bit overboard with explanations)

I may have missed it, but your answer seems to have no bearing on the OP's question about whether it's deliberate that a person can't log in from outside the continental US.

I am currently connected via VPN. I am connected via Glasgow in the UK. I was able to access rv.net. I logged out and then logged back in. I am currently posting this through a Quick Reply.

Perhaps it is only certain countries that are blocked?

I am in the US, but have a VPN with nodes around the world. I have logged in and out repeatedly from various countries and have had no problems at all, regardless of the apparent origin of my connection.

You need to put your credit card in for the tariff.
