What are your yearly registration costs for your truck?

What kind of truck do you have and What are your yearly registration costs in your state? What state? Do you have to do anything special?
I know some states have a separate property type tax on vehicles too.

I live in Illinois and my 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 dually cost me $158 per year for a D truck plate that is up to 12000 lbs. I also have to have safety inspections at about $30 each. Inspections were required twice a year but this year that was changed to once a year.

In Arizona, you pay approx. 1.9% of the base MSRP (MSRP with NO options) for new, current MY vehicles and trucks. Since it's based on the base MSRP, someone who purchases a new Ram Cummins HD (diesel is an option) pays the same amount as someone who purchases a new gasser HD of the same year, make, and model (i.e., 2500 CC SB 4x4 Tradesman gas or diesel---same fee). A truck/vehicle with a base MSRP of $40k will cost you ~$760 for your first year's registration. This particular fee goes down approx. 16% every year.

In addition to the above fee you also have to declare your GVW. 8-10K GVW is approx. $36. From 10,001 to 12k is approx. $60. There's also a fee for diesels and a mandatory commercial fee if the OEM GVWR (different from the declared GVWR) is higher than 10k (both fees are minimal).

After reading this, I'll stop belly-aching about paying $82/yr for registration & inspection in Texas on my 2011 F150.

I'll continue to belly-ache about high real estate taxes though.

Ma...2016 DRW $380 per year for reg, all DRW trucks must be registered as commercial in MA. Then $120 for my yearly commercial inspection which includes the oie sniffer test. Then add in another $500 for yearly taxes. I wont even get into the commercial insurance i carry on this truck!

Ma...the other California!

It would be tempting to trade for single 22.5" tires on back in place of the duals if that would get you around that stupid law.

it would but i did notice a difference going from a SRW to DRW truck, and although MA SUCKS! i will continue to pay and enjoy the towing experience. I did recently hear that they are changing the law in Ma for DRW registrations, i will find out soon when i go to renew my reg.

2017 Ram 3500 SRW, $860. Arizona registration is some of the highest in the country yet we have some of the worst roads.

Every vehicle listed in my Sig. has PERMANENT registration, except the PT Cruiser. This year when the registration is due for renewal, it will get the PERMANENT sticker.
Some say "10 years old" qualifies for the Permanent registration, but it actually means in the eleventh year. At least, that is what I was told in 2016; "Wait until 2017, then you can get the Permanent registration. Since it seems we will keep it, this year it will get done.
IIRC, the truck cost $253 for the Permanent registration.

Good ol' NY (though not as bad as California) I pay $265 every two years, which includes custom plates which account for, I believe, $65 of that. Yearly inspections are $21 for gassers, $14 for diesels because we don't (amazingly) need emissions testing. This is for a 2018 Sierra Denali HD (2500) Duramax, with registered weight of 7,583 lbs.
