Upcoming one day sale on GC2 Battery at Sam's Club

I read an obscure response from battery vendor in response to a question in GC2 battery questions in Sam's Club website.

It was claimed in May of 2019 there would be a one day sale on GC2 batteries.

I stopped by Sam's Club tonight and talked to the auto person. She doesn't know anything, said they wouldn't tell her yet... however, when I mentioned the one day sale, she immediately offered May 11.

If you're in the market for GC2 batteries, keep your eyes open.

Don't know what they will be selling for but last week the local Costco had a huge display of Interstate GC2's they were promoting. They must have had a hundred stacked up inside the store. They were Ninty-something dollars; don't recall the exact price.
