Is the preferred route I-65 straight thru Louisville?

Thanks folks, we came thru Louisville around 1:00 yesterday without much of a slow down on I-65.

We came up I-65 from Montgomery, AL to Indy about 2 weeks ago and didn't find that the area south of Louisville was that bad. I-65 south of Birmingham, AL holds the title as "pothole".

If you want scenery go 31 W , but when you get to Louisville get on I 65

yep no problem except rush hour. tow bridge going into indiana but they bill you in the mail.

That's how I'd go, 64 is half hour longer.
