My PC (W10 Pro) is running very well, but I decided to do a check with SFC /scannow. It came up with the following results:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag. PS C:\WINDOWS\system32

i don't understand if this is important and what must be done. Thanks for your input.

Yes, I believe it is. Version 1803. Right now computer is running quite well. If I have any issues I'll just reset it (reinstall W10). Since a working computer is very important for me, I recently purchased an RCA Viking tablet, running Android.

This article has some info (probably just as confusing) that might help.
It also suggests the DISM command might be able to fix some of it.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/947821/fix-windows-update-errors-by-using-the-dism-or-syste...

I had this problem a while back, but subsequent major Windows 10 OS updates seemed to correct the problems. I now usually get a clean report from the SFC /SCANNOW command.

As to how important is it? Probably not, if the machine/Windows seems to be working normally. If you start getting other odd errors or system crashes (aka, inexplicable BSOD) it might be worth pursuing.

I'll run a scan and see what happens and update this thread later.

SCAN RESULTS: No problems found.
