Well I finally did it, I bought the solar cover & interior liner. This spring we have a few trips that could be potentially cold and we are to the point where we are getting older and our tolerance for the cold and noise is not what it used to be...

I'm hoping to figure out a quick routine on installing the interior liner, this way I can give it as part of DW's set up responsibilitys, guess I'll see how that goes.

Got the free shipping, Yeah!

One more post, maybe I can call it a review. Just one cold night on this trip but definitely noticed it was much more warmer in the bunkend and the overall temps seemed to be much more uniform inside the hybrid. I did noticed the interior liner slipped down a little when opening the bunkend but was a easy fix by unzipping the bug screen inside and pulling them back up.

My one concern is when I have to dry out the canvas on the bunkend after it rains, will I have a problem with moisture getting trapped between the interior liner and the canvas sides, I will have to be careful of this.

This is why I like RV.net, always someone with some good insight! Have no problems closing in the bunk end doors.

Next week is my first camping trip, looking forward to seeing how this all works out! :C

Edit: oops... I realized on my first pic I needed to flip the top solar cover (silver up)

Thanks everyone!

This made a noticeable difference for us.

We haven't tried gizmos but I could see them helping a lot in keeping the heat out of the beds in the summer. Wasn't ready to commit to another setup step though. 🙂

The exterior solar cover seemed to work out well, though it seems the clips did a better job keeping the canvas secured on the ends closest to the camper. The interior liner at this point is looking like to much work to set up and not worth it, all it is was a blank tarp... something you can find a home depot

We used them on the outside for many years and loved them. Worked great to help in the summer heat. In the cooler months they prevented condensation from forming on the inside.

No longer have our hybrid but just found the popupgizmos in the garage!

Snow just finished melting here in CT and I haven't even taken off my rv cover, I hope to work on the interior liner this or next weekend. This may turn out to be a bust. I will post back on how this works out... maybe even a pic or 2 :C

Ours made a noticeable difference in the heat and cold. I hope yours will also. I see you also use McKesh mirrors. I loved those things!
