New Camper Transcend 28MKS

Just wanted to share our new camper purchase, a Grand Design Transcend 28MKS. Traded in our Jayco 26BH. Can’t wait for warmer weather so we can get out camping.

It took about a year of shopping to make our decision. A few things we wanted:
- one entry door, not two
- optimized for a couple taking longer trips
- able to sleep four
- one slide to make a bit more room for 4 plus a dog
- L-shaped seating arrangement so we can have room for 7 on a cold or rainy day
- didn’t want to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom

This make and model look great. However, it is going to be an adjustment moving up to something so big. I’ll post an update once we get a few camping trips in.

Our neighbors have this floor plan in the Sonoma model. We wanted this plan too, but every one we looked at had a low non-arched ceiling. Our neighbors foor plan is preferable to ours (see below) but the low ceiling I couldn’t live with. In my opinion your floor plan is the best in the 28’ length.
