We have a short term summer rental in our home in Penticton. After a full bore season..I was given a long-ishy leash. We had rebuilt the interior of the RV (pix and stuff in Do it Yourself Forum) and I was pretty much needing to be on the road.

I left Sept 18th...and as of today, Oct 5th...am still rockin along. Sharon flew in to meet me and we are off to Tofino for three days. She heads home the 11th..and I don't plan to be home till the 20th.

Anyway..if you like pics...you can see them on my Blog..or even on FB..it is open to public viewing so you don't have to be ON FB to see.

Done and done...away for a month with no issues. Only 1.5 days of rain. The colours in the North Cascades, coming home, were so intense, almost hurt the eyes.

Great photos, Gary! There is one particular shot of Sharon that is really terrific. It's a close-up, lit from the side -- she looks like she is having a great time on the breezy beach around sundown!! It really captures the feeling of adventurous travel. Well done!

'Hi Dan..shot taken at sunset on Chesterman Beach, Tofino.

I type this at 21:16 Tuesday night sitting at the waters edge in Colwood..just west of Victoria. The sign says no overnight parking...the city worker says the by-law person books out at 6pm and doesn't get back much before 9am. City worker guy says to make self at home.
