Full wall slide lock arm frozen in place

Our 2006 pace arrow, 36d, has a full wall slide that is secure during travel with two rotating metal arms... one at each end. Today the rear arm locked up preventing the slide from retracting as normal. Had to drive home with 8 inches of rear corner sticking out.
Anyone have this problem before and a recommended solution.

Thank you very much for your helpful and timely response. Disassembled and have the part on order!

Thanks again, Doug

Could be out of time. Run slide in and hit reset on board. Might be two reset buttons. Hit the one closest to out side edge.

The motors on these locks wear out eventually. Had to replace one of mine a couple years ago, it’s a pretty easy fix. If you look in the area of the lock you will find an access panel, usually in a cabinet. Remove the panel to get access to the motor. Here’s a link to the part that I installed. Includes a video.
