Xantrex 1000

Can I just bypass the xantrex 1000 converter and only thing that would happen is no power to tv's unless hooked to campground power or gen. Set is running. Any other problems I should worry about having bypassed investor. Thanks

It's just an invertor and rv has a transfer switch. Only thing I see invertor does is work tvs. Or am I wrong. Only reason I ask it's broke took it out wired the wires together now I have tv again when plugged in or gen. Set is running I just don't want to mess something up.

Is this 1000 watt INVERTER by Xantrex?

If so, it has a built in "pass through" feature/ATS.

So, yes, one could go from the 120 VAC "IN" to the 120 VAC "OUT" and everything would work on shore power or generator.

This does not mean that the proper fuses/breakers are in place, however.
