Trike Ride - Where to Stay

We are considering doing the 200 mile ride in the link above. Where would you stay if you were us? We can stay anywhere near the route.
Traveling in a 40 foot class A with a truck in tow. Would prefer full hook-ups. Stopping in route from Maryland to Florida in a couple weeks. Don't ask why Florida this time of year?- its a long story but necessary.

Davidson river is 2 miles from my house, a good location but stays full, there is a nice class A resort in Lake Toxaway 30 minutes up the road,Mountain Falls, not sure about overnight but it's a nice place and great riding roads all around. Waynesville is a nice town. Black Forest is a little out of the way. Anything around Hendersonville would be good.

Black Forest RV Resort. On Hwy 276 South of Brevard, NC. Full hookups. Big rigs spots. Secluded. Brevard is close and a nice mountain town. DuPont Forest is close and great hikes to several waterfalls. Blue Ridge Hwy in nearby. We stayed last summer. Will be going back. Check it out.

Thanks for the reply. Is this it?

The reviews seem to indicate it may be difficult for a 40 foot motor home to get to the campground?

Some large 5'ers were camped out there. The road up to the campground is not much more than 1 lane, bur doable. Wherever you stay in the NC mountains, you will really enjoy.

Never stayed there but you might investigate Davidson River Campground right on 278 near Brevard.
