So my wife and I decided on the trailer we are going to go after. It's a 2018 Coachmen Catalina SBX 321BHDSCK. From what I've found, the sale price isn't horrible. Anyone have one of these models and if so, how does this price compare? What can I realistically expect to get off the sale price? Thanks.

Possibly but why did you leave out your TVโ€™s payload capacity? 1,300 to 1,400 tongue weight, WDH 100 or so, what are you carrying in the TV other than you and a full tank of gas?

He left it out of the discussion because he's smart and knows the payload number doesn't mean diddly-do on his truck.

Very capable tow vehicle.

Even with that much tongue weight, he still has plenty left over, like 1500 lb or so.

It's more important that you really check out the rig to be SURE it is the one for you. Spend time in each area of the layout visualizing how it would be used. Stop at a Rest Area, make a meal, watch TV, make the bed, hang clothes, etc.
A deal on a rig that doesn't work for you is not a deal no matter what the price.

Lol yes that's correct. I don't remember it because I've never had to tow anything that comes close to it's capabilities.

Because I don't remember it off the top of my head and the post wasn't about whether or not my TV could haul it down the road. I think my payload is somewhere around 3K but I'd have to look it up. I have a WDH and typical camping gear and my wife and 3 kids and two dogs.

The consensus used to be that 30- 40% off asking wasn't unheard of. That was 10 years ago. My sticker was $28K and selling was $17.9k. Got a sofa thrown it, retail about 800 and 10% off everything in their store. YMMV

We used to own a Catalina (2010) and have friends with a Keystone Cougar and have seen the issues they've had. I would stay with the Catalina as far as quality goes.

What do you mean by this? Like asking them to throw in tv's or a power tongue jack?

The only other point would be checking the price and package for add on charges. Some dealers will wait till after a price is agreed to, and then add shipping, documemtation, dealer prep, and even a PDI fee.
These fee's can easily add up to $2500 or more. Another dealer may have an identical unit priced a few hundred more than the one you are looking at, but if they are a bottom line pricing dealer, they may be a lot cheaper when the deal is done.
Most dealers that price their inventory "out the door" proudly say so on their website. White Horse does not that I could see. That doesnt make it a bad deal or dealer, just approach it with your eyes open and aware of whats included in your deal.

Thank you! All great info.
