Navajoa Truck Routes

OK, we are the first to admit that sometimes we are slow.

In the 90's, when it was almost complete, we took the truck bypass around Navajoa. It was awful. We literally ended up fording a small stream.

We went back to going right through town and all the stop lights.

Then we were told about the truck route that runs parallel to the main street, about a block inland, with only a light or two. We used that a number of years, but the condition was so bad, the traffic awful, and there was one really bad intersection with a stop sign.

We went back to going right through town and all the stop lights.

Yesterday, on a whim, we took the truck route again. It was great!! One stop light, great surface, yes, it was 8 miles at 60 KPH, but it was easy and good. That is our new route!
