Call Larry at Deluxe RV Mobile Repair in Yuma. He just did some refrigerator work for us and some other work for friends. Very good. He’s the one I’d call. 928-342-1230

Pro Mobile RV Service, 208.880.0634. Lee Braithwait is his name. He winters in Yuma and summers in Newport OR. I got his name from the campground host.

He did some propane work for me this past summer in OR. I thought he was thorough, enjoyed teaching and was reasonably priced.

The good RV mobile repair guys do NOT advertise.

They have a full schedule of work from word of mouth from CG's. Sometimes you'll be able to find their cards at CG offices.

The best way if you are not in a CG right now is to find a close CG and ask the owners who they use for RV mobile Repair. If you are in a CG just take a walk up to the office, they will give the name of who they use!

Check the 'inboard' solenoid.....they are a common failure

What BRAND/MODEL is water heater?

When circuit board sends High Voltage thru spark electrode it also sends 12V DC to Gad Valve Solenoids for 6-8 seconds

BOTH solenoids have to energize to OPEN Gas Valve for propane to flow

With Voltmeter..test each solenoid for 12V DC WHEN Spark Electrode is firing

Other thing is spark electrode 'gap'....needs to be 1/8" Min & 3/16" Max for a good strong spark (S/B able to SEE it)

But brand/model will yield better info

Sorry, forgot to add the propane issue to the above post! Our issue is that the water heater works fine on electric. The lights on our EMS work. When we switch to propane, it tries to ignite, but can't. We hear the click. Yes, we have propane in both tanks. We are trying to determine where to look ourselves before hiring someone else. Thanks again!
