Found this on craigslist today. Thought I had seen just about every truck camper on the market. But how cool are these? A little small for a fulltimer like myself but I love the fiberglass construction and the rounded mold. Interior looks solid, though minimal. Are we sure this isn't a boat?? Lol, love it.

We saw our first Earthroamer in 2009 coming out of the Tuweep area in Arizona.

Just now looked at it on Craigslist and like how cool is this! I've never seen anything quite like this before. It's a little pricey at $13,800 for a 2006 Roamer, but what the heck, you'd definitely would have a one of a kind truck camper for sure.

Yes, two different companies.

The thread title made me initially think it was perhaps an Earth Roamer but the CL link shows differently. The first "Earth Roamer" that now carries that brand name as alluded in Kaytag's posts was initially built on a Dodge P/U truck with a modified camper shell- I think there was only one, perhaps 2 of those types built (I would have to check back in my old TDR quarterly's)... those trucks/TC's evolved into the ER brand when Ford offered 550 chassis and Dodge at the time did not.

ER is totally different from the OP's link.
Sold the TC, previous owner of 2 NorthStar pop-ups & 2 Northstar Arrows...still have the truck:

2005 Dodge 3500 SRW, Qcab long bed, NV-6500, diesel, 4WD, Helwig, 9000XL,
Nitto 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers, Honda eu3000Is, custom overload spring perch spacers.

I believe that is a different company. Roamer (Florida) quit building campers in the mid 90's (probably about the time the bottom fell out of the RV market when fuel prices went sky high.

Found more info.
Looks like Roamer, beside trailers specialize in "expedition vehicles" called van campers. Nice units, but since they do not post pricing, I guess it has to be one of those "if you have to ask, that means you can't afford it"

Nice unit. 13,800 seems a bit high but it is Craigs List. Carefully looking at the camper, the front window looks suspect but other than that. it's nice. Heavy too, 2800 empty. Realistically probably 3300+ empty.

My friend did own 1980's era Corvette and DIY the repairs, he estimated that for each 2 hr of driving he spend 1 hr repairing.
Amazing what some manufactures consider as maintenance.
This looks like good camper, but $13,800 for 12 years old small unit is not cheap.
I wonder how much new 12' with single slide cost?

Only junk if you presume wrongly that no maintenance is required.

Looks like boat technology used on TC. This can be improvement to "design to leak" traditional builds.
The awnings placement looks strange, but other than that - good looking unit.
