Looking at the smaller Lance TTs now. We like the layout of the 1685. Does Lance have a decent reputation? We were checking out Airstreams but trying to go a bit cheaper.
Thanks for any advice. Also if anyone has any other small trailers they’d like to recommend I’m all ears. ?? I have a 2013 Tundra with the tow package 4.6 liter V8. Supposedly has a 8600# tow capacity. Thanks.

From what I have seen Lance builds a decent trailer. As an alternative look also at Northwoods Nash line or outdoorRVs line.

The Bigfoot is a cabover, right? OP is asking about travel trailers.

The Lance 1685 to OP is looking at is a perfect entry-level TT IMO

Yeah thanks Ron. Bigfoot does make trailers too. They look nice. My issue would be that we don’t have a dealer here in North TX. We have a Lance dealer tho.

Lance does make a nice trailer, but they are flat on top, which can result in pooling water. If the roof isn't sealed well, that can be an expensive problem, and has been reported on this forum more than once. I would still consider them though.

Oliver Travel Trailers should be on your list if you want something that's going to last. Spendy though.

“Supposedly has a 8600# tow capacity.”

That’s one number. What’s your payload? How many people in the TV? How much stuff in the truck? In pounds.

Have a 2016 Lance 1685. Love it. Had a water leak under the bathroom sink but repaired under warranty. Cracked pipe fitting.
Lots of storage space for a small trailer, large fresh water, and holding tanks.
