Black Friday Discounts

I have heard that some state parks offer Camping reservation discounts on Black Friday. Just wondering if any of you know of any state parks that do this? Thanks!

All Colorado state parks have free entry on Black Friday, but no discount for camping. The idea here is to get people doing things outside after their turkey dinners instead sitting in front of their computers on Amazon.com or fighting the crowds at the malls.

Thanks Kohldad. I knew SC did this. We do the same as y’all and book lots of camping reservations during the sale. I was hoping some other states did, too as we are looking to do some out of state camping next year. We also closely watch the SC state parks 12 Days of Christmas deals.

The New Mexico state parks are giving free day passes to the parks. Does not cover normal camping fees.

Don’t count on it many Oregon parks are book full or near full.

We are staying at a TN state park and there were no discounts for them.
