anastasia state park to reopen to camping?

Does anyone have any information on when Anastasia State Park in Florida may be reopened for camping? Spoke to someone in their office this morning and there was no certainty as to when that might be. DH and I have reservations for October 9th and need to know ASAP as we would need to cancel other plans if they will not be open by then. Thanks for any info you may be able to share.

Just a follow up. We have been in contact with Anastasia State Park. Some of their sites are open for camping, others are not. We had 2 ressies, sites 69 and 70. One was 'up and running' for our reservation, the other would not be ready. CAll them if you have reservations anytime the next 3 weeks!

As of today ( Sunday ) the park is open for dat use only.

Just a note of caution. Many Fla. state parks are indeed opening. But for day visitors, with campgrounds still being repaired. So don't assume.

It looks like the campground isn't open until the 29th.

Why cancel your other plans, if they're not open by Oct 9 ? You shouldn't have a problem, finding a site in a private campground, in the area, in early October.
