I had posted a month or so ago..looking for insights for Boston. We were going to NYC for 10 days and thought we wanted to take a run to Boston.

Ultimatly, we didn't go. I chickened out of driving, for one thing. Then the hurricane weather concerns showed up and we just decided to stick around the City.

Thank you to those that offered up information regarding Boston.

We had a great time. It's such a big freakin place..takes so much energy to handle it. We are fortunate to have a friend that lives there, so Jenn spent lots of time guiding us around.

Really cool that the YouTuber was showing a boondocking spot in The City. I foud one too, on Staten Island..in fact there were two A's parked there the other night. Great views of the Hudson.

We'd like to do Boston, we are quite sure we'd enjoy iy. So come a future trip, we'll figure it out.

Maybe think about it for another time. If you were good in NYC then Boston should be fine. It's a much smaller, more intimate city. If you are worried about driving then stay somewhere outside the city and take public transportation in. Boston is a wonderful, beautiful city that I think you would enjoy thoroughly.

Good move. The weather was miserable all week due to Irma stalling south on Cape Cod. I guess Saturday was nice inland but it was still drizzling on the south shore.

Your right about knowing someone who lives there..I have a niece that lives in Long Island and it was actually a lot of Fun when taking the train's/subway in and around the City with someone who knows what there doing. Glad you took in some sights.
