The 9300 is just a converter. IT may protect the 12 volt side of life from SOME bad power problems. bit only the 12 volt. It will do nothing for Televisions, microwaves, air conditioners or .. Itself.

The Protection devices are made by Progressive INDUSTRIES
The 9200 by Progressive DYNAMICS.. Different companies.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Converter takes 120V AC power and 'converts' it to DC to supply DC power for the 12V DC System AND provide a charging circuit for batteries.

Good idea to have a Surge Protector that tests/verifies AC Voltage, tests for loss of neutral/ground, trips on Hi & Lo AC Voltage etc.

EMS.Energy Management System may be a function also.....course your RV may already have an EMS....monitors AC Line Voltages and sheds load based on AC Power Source.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

pd9245 may protect itself to a certain degree but not the RV.

You need a full function EMS if you do not have one.
