Considering a 30 day stay in Jan or Feb at least as far south as Corpus Christe. Is it possible to get a site t a reasonable quality place with less than 30 days advance reservations?

I've been going to Rockport (40 miles north of Corpus since 2004. Clear up to this past winter you could find a quality place to stay at without reservations. This year I wouldn't try it. Or at least we aren't going to Rockport this year. Hopefully we will next year. Recently talked to a friend that lives in Rockport year round. She said she doubts that her park will be open before Dec 1. She said a lot of people haven't even came down yet to check on their units most of which are flipped over. Some blocking the streets of the RV park.
I've been to all 50 States but my RV hasn't.

You will need to get reservations well in advance this year, since the hurricane heavily damaged or destroyed many snowbird campgrounds, from Corpus all the way up to Galveston.
