The AI / self driving aspect is not ending well for these folks. I have a project in Pittsburgh a few blocks from where these folks are based. I get there twice a month usually and have seen plenty of the test vehicles in minor fender benders, and a few times in more than what would be considered minor crashes.

I am starting to really like the "Chief-Twit", let that "sink" in ROFLMAO. I might buy a Tesla now (used). You're probably going to have a whole gaggle of pansyasses dumping them today due to butthurt feelings. They're gonna need a long timeout in the safe space to deal with this LOL.

"The top executives were hastily escorted out of the company’s San Francisco headquarters." - (source, The Washington Post, link in the article) hilarious.

YS, are you canceling the Cybertruck reservation?

(Need a good laugh? The comments below the article are to die for)

LOL, and it gets better by the second.

Wow, interesting article. I think most if not all manufactures are going to go to "hands at the ready" way of self driving. This Robotaxi garbage is just that, garbage. It's always 2 years away. Tusk announced a few months ago that the Robotaxi was going to happen in 2024....for sure. LOL Self driving cars going nowhere. No wonder pickups cost 100 grand now days. They have to pay for the 100 billion they through down the toilet.

The Twitter deal is super funny!! I bet there will be a rash of Tesla fan boi owners talking trash about their Tesla's now. Tusk even had to move out of Kalifornia because his employees were demanding a safe place to recover when someone yelled at them at work.

You can't make this stuff up!!! Thanks for the links and good laugh this morning!!

I hope this Chief Twit deal does not turn into a Kanye moment.

Semi still seems on track for December.

I do agree that self driving is some time in the future.

So were telephones once upon a time.

Ford recently abandoned the in house self driving development plan.

I believe Tesla has a better shot at self driving than success at the metaverse company. Still going to be years away IMO.

Interesting that they didn't tell us how many times the "safety driver" "saved" the "DRIVER LESS" delivery trucks. LMAO

Tusk now says 2024 Time. LOL
