This afternoon, we discovered that our camper was damaged when we had it in for emission inspection the end of May. Either the shop didn't realize they had damaged it or neglected to inform us. There is a scrape in the fiberglass all along the passenger side top edge of the roof. And a vent cover is broken off.

Unfortunately, we have no way to prove they did the damage. We have before and after pictures. And the odometer reads eleven miles more than the odometer reading on the service order, the distance from the shop to our home where the rig is now parked. So it is obvious to us when the damage occurred.

What are your thoughts?

A walk around is always advisable when picking up your car or RV from a repair shop. Otherwise you are ool.

You drove it in , drove it out I suspect, not them. As such, unless you can prove the bay was too low or narrow, the fault was yours. Sorry.

I would start with talking face to face with the shop owner right away.

x2. This occurred in May and you just noticed the damage? Is the camper parked outside or in your garage? That is just one of the questions that will be asked.
Keep us updated if you take any action to recover damages.
