Back from Norway and Iceland. What a trip! Will post pics when I can but what a beautiful country Norway is. The fjords are incredibly beautiful, the mountains and valleys striking and the people nice and friendly. Oslo is a wonderful old city full of history and Bergen is a "happening" place. Soaked in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland for few hours-absolutely a "melt your cares away" experience and went horseback riding on Icelandic horses. It's a very different experience than what I've experienced here and in Canada. I will say, though, I am glad to be home. 16 days on the road in foreign lands was a little too long-eating can be difficult. Wouldn't trade the experience for anything though!

Didn't get that far away from Reykjavik this time. We only had Fri-Sun there on our way back from Norway so we hung closer to the city. For anyone who may have visited Reykjavik prior or during their economic crisis it is now a city transformed into a thriving metropolis.
