7 of the 10 fastest cars in practice today were Fords. Might the balance of power be shifting this season??????

Final Score in the Discount Auto Parts Clash: Weather 1, Daytona 0.

Tomorrow at 11am. What a great idea, if it does rain the sun seems to be much more efficient than the blow dryers....Who knew?

Courtney Force driving the pace car....they will never catch her.

Nascar can't catch a break....get the season off to a start --rained out.

They'll catch her in the first turn when she pulls the chute out of habit.

I prefer to watch Danica Patrick. She sure did a good bit of smart driving in the clash, today......(top five finish).

Last lap the one that counts. More impressed how Keselowski and Hamlin didn't wad up the entire field.

Hendrick front row for Sunday, but the Fords were looking pretty muscular in the Clash and qualifying.

There was a nasty crash in the ARCA race Saturday. 5 laps to go car got turned squarely into outside wall. Driver taken to hospital don't know if he was admitted or not.The race was ended because the car punched a hole in a section of SAFER barrier and had to be replaced.

Not NASCAR But Scary!

World of Outlaws races up in Barberville, second time a car jumped the fence this past weekend. Lot of NASCAR guys 'moonlight' there during Speed Weeks. Tony Stewart used to be a fixture at this event.

Open wheeled cars like sprints can be launched quite high in the air.

Saw Jeff Swindell jump another car's right rear tire, do a complete flip in the air, land on all four wheels atop the wall and eight foot wide safety barrier and bounce over the 14 ft high safety fence. It didn't even touch the top of the fence 20 feet above the track surface.

No one was sitting in the bottom two rows of the stands where the car landed.
