Not a chance.I am 75 wife 79 and we are planning cross country trip next summer pulling a 28' trailer.Age is just a number, health is the critical determiner.i am a better driver now then years ago,I have more respect and more patience for less experienced drivers, sorry to say this but the young ladies are by far the worst.cell phones are a very everyday danger.

As several have stated, it varies from person to person and is dependent on health and competency. I've seen some 40-year-olds who shouldn't be driving anything - much less towing! On the other hand, I've met a 78 y.o. retired trucker who handled his 42' class A DP better than anyone I've ever seen.

I met a 90 year old and his 86 year old wife still pulling a 5th wheel. He seemed sharp as a tack, flew fighters in WWII.

I think maybe if you drive a motorhome at 70 you are safe, but pulling anything behind it is not safe.

I think you think wrong. It isn't age that makes the difference, it's ability. Our toad quietly follows us everywhere we go, causing no problems at all.

There are Tractor trailer drivers still on the road well past 70. I know a couple of them. They do have to pass medicals to be able to keep their commercial licence.

Age is NOT the issue.......be it MH, towing or driving a car

I've seen folks that couldn't/shouldn't be doing any of the above that are in their 30's, 40's etc

When passengers SCREAM or refuse to ride with you -----IT'S TIME!

Is it time for your medication or mine?

At 71 I have to say I sure hope not.I don't drive a motor home but if we wanted to go to one I wouldn't hesitate and we would tow a toad with it.
I have gone to using a mounting block to get on my horse and I am slower at getting into the Jeep. But I certainly don't think I'm ready to stop towing things behind the TC or to stop towing any of the other 5 trailers we have.

I am 73 years old, and pulling a car behind the motorhome (and hope so to do for many years to come). And I also ride a motorcycle and hope to do that for many more years! And I even load and unload the cycle alone onto and from the carrier in the back of the RV!
