I love the idea. But where do you get a 35mm film canister these days?

Directly beside that store that sells imagination.

It doesn't have to be a film canister....you can use anything.

When I started this in 1996....I was buying 12 rolls of 35mm a summer.

Just don't mix stuff up and burn the log book and try to write in the ashes! That's what camping is all about. The memories of good times with family. Traditions only enhance the experience. For those wanting pictures, a cheap tablet can hold thousands of pictures and not gain any weight or bulk.

2017 Highland Ridge Ultra Lite UT2704bh.Just right ++
Ford F-150 Ecoboost V6. Very happy.
Honda Ruckus scooter - Great fun.
Suzuki Burgman 400 scooter - Greater fun.
Champion 3100 Inverter Generator - (huge grin)!

I did this in the 80's. But I stopped after I got pulled over in Fl. The cop found my container of white power and asked what it was. I said camp fire ashes. He said, sure it is...............and it went down hill from there. [emoticon]

Neat idea, I list all our family canoe trips on my paddle. Date and location.

Twenty six foot 2010 Dutchmen Lite pulled with a 2011 EcoBoost F-150 4x4.

Just right for Grandpa, Grandma and the dog.
