Hi all.

I am located in the US and looking for a motorhome with a contemporary interior. Does anyone know where I can find one or at least know any designer that can help me design one?

Here is an example: http://www.busyboo.com/wp-content/uploads/modern-motor-home-ketterer.jpg

Any help would be appreciated.

One person's contemporary is another person's gaudy. I believe the pics posted by the OP is we in the US call "Euro". The kind of RVing we do doesn't lend itself to an all white interior.

People buy stick homes all of the time and redo the interior to their own tastes. I'm not saying it would be cheap but it is entirely possible to paint the cabinets in any RV white, which is the latest hot trend. It is also possible to change the flooring to any color that you want as well as changing the countertops. Obviously the furniture can be reupholstered as well.
If you can do some of the work, this will keep the cost down but if you have to pay someone to do all of the work, the cost can escalate.
I would avoid an RV shop and stick with local shops to remodel the interior to your own likes.
If this is what you want, and have the funds to pay for it, just find the floor plan that suits your needs and go for it.

Hi 🙂 I used the services of an interior designer. I was looking for inspiration in London, I love this style. I found interesting inspirations on the http://sigmalondon.com/. I have my dream contemporary interior. I recommend to everyone, look for online inspections. Later you can search for an interior designer. I hope I helped.

Markiemark, what if I were to buy a used motorhome let's say a few years old and then outfit it with a modern/contemporary interior.

What do you think is a good ballpark figure to just change out the entire interior?

I think you will find to get work done, like you are looking at, will be close to what they sell for............and really tough to find builder to retro fit and redo a RV.

You'd be spending so much money on a re-do that you'd be better off finding a new rig, then have the manufacturer outfit it to your specifications from scratch on the interior. $100K and Up, wouldn't be worth it on an old used coach.

Hi Z3,

I know that you were asking the 'other' Mark but the price of changing the interior of an existing coach could vary widely. It all depends on the materials that you chose and if there is any additional wiring, plumbing or changing the floor plan involved. I will throw out the figure of at least $100,000.

If I were to change an interior of a coach, I would want quality cabinets, flooring, furniture, etc. The cost to consider is that you will be paying for double labor, the labor to remove the old stuff and then install the new motif.

Good luck on your search.

Markiemark32: That prevost you posted is very nice. Do you know the price tag?

Just wondering why is the cost of building a custom modern/contemporary motor home expensive? Certainly the materials can't be that costly.

Quick search shows new provost, over $1 million.

I'm sure, did you get to see the price-tag by chance?

or is one of those if you have to ask, it is too much for you.

Markiemark

No, I didn't get the exact price but since it's a two slide, I would think the MSRP is about $2.3M
