Last night I installed a deep aluminum trans pan in hopes of cooling my trans fluid a bit more in hard pulls, and gave it a fresh drink of Rotella and filter, gave the engine and underneath a good wash to get rid of winter, gotta keep these old dodges clean or you can go out and there will be 4 tires sitting in a pile of rust.

very much looking forward to camping time.

I replaced the front brakes with Hawk (greens) and Bosch rotors. After breaking them in they made an incredible difference in braking power.

Added a receiver to the front of my truck for our bike rack and removed a stone that lodged itself between my front rotor and the backing plate.

Had a fresh oil change with filter. Then two new injectors, Ford loves me and this F450 with a 6.0 diesel. $1600.00 this time, new fuel injection control module, alternator, two batteries, new belt, last fall $1800.00. Got to love a 6.0 ford planning a 8,000 mile trip this summer hope all is fixed.

Washed it and cleaned the inside. Filled the DEF tank. Will load the Lance tomorrow for a nice long weekend trip.

ata3001, My 2006 Dodge CTD the power steering pump has been leaking since 2011. From what I read on Cummins forums it is unfortunately a common problem with 3rd generation Dodge trucks. I used stop leak fluid twice in last 3 years to stop it...Stuff works. If I keep truck will change out pump and hoses too.

I stared at it, encased in it's ice cocoon, unmoved for the past three months, then I brushed the fresh layer of yet another 8 inches of snow from it's hood and told it spring is only 8 days away.
