DavidG, we are registered in site 116. We are planning on coming in Friday leaving Sunday. Hopefully we won't have to cancel in 2014! Since we hadn't been there before, going to googlemaps was a huge help. The park map on the website looks small and cramped--which it isn't when you see it on google. It let me find a site with room for the dog's tie-out--she isn't good on the short 6' usually required and this site appears to have room for a longer one. We are really spread out, however!

I need some advice about Grayland SP! Looking at making reservations there on our way south in Sept. Is left and right beach the closest to the beach? Any suggestions?

Like the choice of next years rally and may be able to actually make it on our way north. At least its on the sunny side of the mountains!! [emoticon] Have the dates marked down but will sit tight until after the first of the year to make a reservation.

Bob - how is the rehabilitation going? Carolyn reminds you to be sure to do everything your PT tells you too!![emoticon]

Left & Right are the closest to the water. We almost always stay in one of the loops closer to the entrance of the park. Personal preference.

Left and right at Grayland don't have sewer hook-ups,but are the nicest of the lot. The back sites have full hook-ups. I prefer the front, but will take a back one even though it means a longer walk to the beach.
Ryan,Cosmo and I were in one of the sites parallel to the dunes the night of the Japanese earthquake and got rousted out at 6:30 in the AM because of the Tsunami warning. The two previous nights we had to pull the slides in and drop the Sat dish as the winds were above 50-60 mph.

Holy cow, where is everyone??? It's as if y'all have dropped off the face of the earth.
I finally broke down and got rid of the Trailblazer, which was a gas hog and getting ready to need some real work and got me a 2011 Liberty. It's a bit smaller than the trailblazer, but gets better MPG and is about 800-900# lighter. Now I've got to get it set up for towing and it seems as if no matter what you have done to an RV,it's expensive. I did get the Unified brake out of the other toad and saved $1100,but it's still 5 hours to install it plus the new tow base.
I do have the old base plate for the '04 Trailblazer if someone can use it.
Heading for Point Hudson in P.T. for 4 nites over the 4th of July and got the last spot and it's right across the street from the restaurant.

Hey, collective brain trust; how long does the average rubber membrane roof on a trailer last? Ours is original (2004) so what we want to know is if it needs to be replaced or simply recaulked. If it need replacement, how much has the average been for the rest of you doing this? People local to Kitsap County, WA, where other than Clear Creek RV do you suggest going?

Ours is still going strong since 2002. Did some damage to it last year--our dealer fixed it and said all OK. It has been outside, no cover, until April 2010 then a roof, no sides, over it since.

I know that you don't want to hear this, but Clear Creek put the new roof on my MH last year and did a great job. The old roof had a couple of holes in it from something, probably fallen branches and the insurance co paid the whole thing. Ya gotta love Pemco.
