RE: Why did the motorists cross the road?

Well, far me it from to brag, but we were the first family on our block to have a complete set of Flintstone Jelly glasses.

RE: Today is the Day

Some of you make us look like newlyweds, having been married just a little over 50 years.:)

RE: Hearing aids

I read in my AARP magazine a couple of months ago that there is a bill in Congress that mandates Medicare cover the costs of hearing aids. Sorry, I don't remember the bill's author or which house it's presently in. I'm kinda holding out to see what happens with this.

RE: skylight/sunroof. clear, cloud, or smoke.

The one over the bed is smoke, the one in the living area is white.

RE: fb/cell phone notifications

FWIW, I don't spend a lot of time on fb. However, I have relatives in other states who post things I'm interested in, such as photos of newborns, who's getting married, who's sick (which seems to be occurring more often the older we get) etc.

RE: fb/cell phone notifications

Thanks. I wasn't sure if I had to go to FB notifications, or the phone notifications.

But how will I know what my friend's cat had for dinner?

fb/cell phone notifications

When one of my "friends" on FaceBook post something, I will receive a notification via my cell phone. In short, if a friend can't sleep and posts something at 3:00 AM my phone beeps. How do I disable this? DW and I both thank you in advance.:Z

RE: Phone/email question

I kept playing around, trying different tactics, and it finally accepted my new password. Everything seems to be fine now. Thanks for those explanations, I had no idea what IMAP was. I was afraid I was being hijacked.

RE: Phone/email question

It's Outlook Express. Thanks, I may have to try something different.

RE: Phone/email question

Thanks to both of you. I changed my password, just to be safe. When I log in to this message it then asks for my name, and then some other questions that make no sense to me. There is never a button to hit "enter." I think I'll stop by the Verizon store the next rip to town. Again, thanks to both of you. It was probably time I changed my password anyway.

Phone/email question

When I check my email account on my Samsung phone I get a message that reads YOU MUST RE-ENTER YOUR PASSWORD FOR YOUR (gives my account name) (IMAP). This just started yesterday. I have no idea what IMAP means. Anyone ever experience this before?

RE: 12V Power

You didn't say what type of tow vehicle, or if you did I missed it. On some trucks, such as my Chevy, the company installs a dummy fuse in the fuse box. The big fuse box under the hood up by the firewall. You have to take out that fuse and install the one that comes with it. Not sure why they do this, but that's the way it was on my '05. Worth taking a look at.

RE: Anyone Travel with bikes inside their TRailer?

We do. I secured them to the rear of the 5'er for several years although I never liked having something back there I couldn't see in the mirror. When the rack got old, we started just putting them inside. A little bit of a pain in the neck, but I feel safer.

Another benefit of RV'ing

Was taking my trash to the dumpster a few days ago while we were camping. Started talking to guy who was two spaces down from me. Talked weather, real estate, etc. when we finally got around to saying where we were from. Turns out I went to high school with this guy. Hadn't seen him in 50+ years. Needless to say, we had both changed a bit. Talked to him several more times over the next couple of days. Small world.
