There are still a lot of houses in my area that only have 60 amp electrical service with old glass fuses but the folks who live in them would never be able to afford an electric car anyway.

RE: Waste water totes for fresh water
I use a spray tank with the pump already mounted on it (never had anything in it put potable water). I took off the spray hose and attached a garden hose quick connect and for the electrical changed the alligator clips to a standard rv plug. You can get these sized from 15 to 50 gallons or more.

RE: New battery cost.
I saw group 31 lithium batteries at bass pro the other day for $900 and some change. I think i will stick with my regular Walmart batteries

RE: Fifth wheel length question
Over the last 25 years we have had everything from a 8' truck camper to a 38' fifth wheel and several in between. Considering we really like OLDER national parks and COE parks, size is a very limiting factor. I sometimes wish our 31'fiver was smaller. Most of these parks will have some sites for the bigger rigs but not nearly as many as those for smaller rigs

That is what I do. I used to have the family phones and a hotspot for traveling internet. I finally got smart and realized the data is unlimited on our phone plans but rather expensive on the hotspot. I bought another phone on ebay, activated it and deactivated the hotspot. This phone is just used as a dedicated hotspot when traveling. I also have a booster in the fiver with an external antenna mounted on a painter's pole which can go up 20 feet or more. If there is any signal at all, I have pretty good internet for streaming netflix, etc.

RE: Water at spigots, shower, toilet, etc. with pump shut off?
Some rigs have an accumulator tank which would hold the water pressure a little longer but it will still stop after a little bit
