RE: Not A Joke Top Off With Gasoline or Diesel

Do a little research. You may find that in the East, Quebec is the bottle neck. To the South (USA) we have no control over access. To the West the twinning of the existing line has to go through environmental hoops and hearings. (And no, I'm not a capital L liberal). Buy CANADIAN oil, not blood oil. I agree but how do you do that with a man-child as our Prime Minister blocking our own pipelines? Piano, that's exactly what I said. The PM has the power to build the Quebec extension (pipelines are federally approved) but he's staying out of it, letting that twit Quebec Premier Legault stop it. As for the west, it's all about liberal activist judges inventing excuses that there was not enough "community consulting". Total BS. The president of Trans Mountain personally visited hundreds of people on the pipeline route and gave his personal cell number to them to discuss any problems. It's liberal judges that are choking the economic life from western Canada. I believe if that little S^&tstain Trudeau gets re-elected, the West should separate.

RE: Kiplinger: 13 Reasons You'll Regret An RV In Retirement

Garbage article, a topic assigned to a junior scribe to fill the net with more **** we don't need.

I got a kick out of the pic of a person dumping the tanks. Gloves, long sleeve everything and - what is that? - a bee hood? Ha! Should've been a Biohazard 4 suit to make it realistic.

RE: Lithium Ion Submarine Batteries

The four old subs that Canada bought from Great Britain are diesel electric. There a a large number of big batteries in them. Sorry nightshift I have done many fire drills on these tubs. That's what I said. Canada isn't a nation that has nuclear powered subs. I thank you for your service for serving on those used pieces of British shite. You're a brave man.

RE: Lithium Ion Submarine Batteries

Interesting. I had no idea anybody was still using diesel-electric subs. I thought they were all nuclear by now. Only seven countries operate nuclear subs. And Canada isn't one of them. The Germans are pioneering stealthy hydrogen fuel-cell u boats.

RE: Vancouver to Whitehorse via Vancouver Island?

Lexx, have you considered taking rte 40 from Dawson Creek to Jasper? That is one of the most stunning parks on Earth. Spend at least two nights there, take the Ice Fields highway to Lake Louise, then go west through Yoho. Banff is a crammed tourist trap; I avoid it when I can. Revelstoke is a little jewel of a town and your family will really enjoy Shuswap Lake.

RE: One mechanics opinion about oil

Fancy expensive oil (aka full synthetic diesel rated) is specified for both our turbo-diesel vehicles. I’ll go with the makers engineers over any auto mechanic, thank you very much. Yup. I change my oil once a year, Rotella T6.

RE: convert gas generator to propane

If you're going to convert to propane, get an extand-a-stay kit. Propane gennys suck fuel like there's no tomorrow.

RE: City of Grants Pass OR

Maybe you will be happy when they change the law and then you won’t be able to park in front of your parents house because some homeless squatters will be parked there. You got to love it when someone from outside your community comes in to visit, doesn’t like the laws that the community voted for, then causes a big stink about it and leaves. Wut??? :B

RE: Camping World shuffles executive management

Isn't there a forum rule about just posting a link without any commentary? If not, there should be. You forgot to yell, "Get off my lawn!" ;)
