RE: Yet another reason to love trailering

Totally agree with having my own nest. I think with the exception of a cruise a year and a half ago, which I altered my sleeping habits, it has been years since I slept in a bed that we didn't own. Hopefully going to keep it that way for a long time.

RE: Router speeds OUT of our router

Yes, would love to get that speed too! However, our internet and cellphones been so screwed up here lately. We are thinking due to all the distant learning and things going on. Personally I think they are powering down towers and slowing internet speeds to keep up with the demand.

RE: Floor issue in 2018 Talon

My neighbor has some issues with his fifth wheel slide tearing up his floor. He ended up calling the factory and talking to a GM. Dealer tried fixing it once and still wasn't right and he kept calling factory to talk to GM, squeaky wheel gets the oil. The GM finally agreed to send someone to Florida from Indiana to pick it up and take it back to factory in Indiana. They just got it back last week and all looks good. He was polite but adamant his RV wasn't right and they finally stepped up to the plate. Good Luck!

RE: Bathroom roof vent knob too short. Can't reach?

When we had our fifth wheel DH make a handle out of wood. It worked quite well and used it for about 7 years.

RE: Private Seller - Financing

I would check out a credit union. We are not much on the big banks if we needed to fiance something. IMHO they pay their executives way too much money.

RE: Hiawassee Ga via 441

Bears Den, We lease a RV site in Hayesville, NC. This time we are staying with a friend on Lake Chatuge and will take the TT up there in mid April and leave it until November 1st. We love the area and me, originally from southern Virginia love the mountains. Hayesville reminds me of Mayberry...lol! BTW...don't blame you about Atlanta, the place is a zoo!. Safe travels!

RE: Hiawassee Ga via 441

We are heading that way Wednesday. 441 is mostly 4 lanes with some small towns and it's nice road. We change our route periodically, we go up there alot. We decided not to go through Helen and going over the mountain this time. I think we will stay on I75 to I16 and then 129 and 441. This time we are heading to Clayton and taking 76 to Hiawassee. The last time we got off I75 at Forsythe and took 83 and then hit 441. Be sure and take the bypass around Athens. Good Luck!

RE: 2020 Jayco Antenna

We have replaced both our omnidirectional antennas on both our campers. We replaced them with a winegard sensor IV. Love the batwing and the extra height they get when in raised position but DON'T forget to lower it...lol.

RE: Continuous Omni-Directional Amplified CA-2500 Antenna

I can answer half of the questions...lol. Yes, you can use the existing coaxial cable. You will have to wait on someone else to answer other question.

RE: Rodman Campground near Palatka FL

Nice little campground. Great bath houses. The town of Palatka is just 10 miles up the road and anything you might need is there. There is no camp store, the mail doesn't even come here, and if you have AT&T cell phones forget it. Even my Verizon service is spotty, and forget data on your phone, Oddly, if I tether to my laptop as I am now I can do whatever. You may have discovered the perfect campground. Our secret is out...lol!

RE: Continuous Omni-Directional Amplified CA-2500 Antenna

We changed out both of our POS antennas, one on our 2013 livin lite truck camper and recently on our 2016 livin lite travel trailer. We could only get 1 maybe 2 channels now at least 14-16 channels. DH was scared to tackle it so we had our local dealership to do it. They did have to move the antenna a little from where it was originally was due to the batwing laying down and cut a hole in the roof but it was fairly close to where the old antenna was. So far it's been great, no leaks and high recommend it. The antenna of choice on both campers was a Winegard Sensor IV and both have been flawless. We decided on the batwing because we wanted the extra height it gives when in the up position. We do enjoy watching tv at night when in bed or on a nasty day. No regrets here!
