RE: Yellowstone Grant/Madison CG's

We stayed at Madison a few years ago in a pull-through site (our 5er measures just shy of 30') and we had enough room to fit in most of the sites. The pull-throughs probably give you some more options for positioning the RV for slides and awnings, but I doubt that you will have significant issues.

RE: Video Editing Software

OP here - since I had iMovie on the Mac, I gave that a try this weekend. I think it will do what I need without spending any more $$. Thanks for the help and travel safe.

RE: Video Editing Software

OP here - thanks for the great ideas - I'll take a closer look at these and come up with a plan.

Video Editing Software

Looking for opinions on video editing software. I don't mind buying a good package, but I'm looking at less than $100 - not making the next Avengers movie. I just want to take some old home movies that I had converted to digital and make some modern versions (with all the overexposed pieces deleted). Windows or Mac recommendations are fine - I have both available.

RE: Windows 10 run as Administrator

When you make yourself an administrator, it puts you at risk somehow? Can someone explain how that happens? If you run as administrator all the time, and you happen to visit a malicious web site or open an e-mail with a malicious attachment, the malicious code then executes with administrative privileges and can easily exploit your entire computer and others on your home network. If you run with normal user privileges and do the same thing, the malicious code only has your user privileges and the amount of damage is minimized due to the lower privilege. This is much more important when you are on a corporate network with thousands of other computers than if you are just at home, but the same principle applies

RE: Instrument cluster 2003 GMC 2500HD Duramax

I had my 2004 GMC Duramax cluster repaired by these guys - very happy with the results.

RE: What’s Your Favorite Truck?

I like my current RAM for towing, but I think my favorite is my 2006 Chevy Duramax LBZ Crew Cab - the truck runs great, rides well and can handle just about any task, including towing up to 12K.

RE: Route Thru the Big Horns

In my opinion, Hwy 16 is a bit easier than Hwy 14, but not significantly so. Both have lots of grade and turns. As mentioned by an earlier poster, do not use Hwy 14A.
