RE: Chaning Differental oil ???

How often? Now. If it’s 20 year old oil. That said once I do an early diff change on a new or new to me vehicle, I go at least 50k between changes with good synthetic gear lube.
PS, if it’s an early 03 7.3 you have a very desirable vehicle if it’s been kept up and basically used only rarely.
Its a 7.3, well kept.

Chaning Differental oil ???

Have an 03 F350, 90K miles, how often should the diff. oil be changed ? Ford lists the oil that came with is as synthetic. We do about 1/3 towing and the rest around town. Thanks

RE: Wearing under bedroom slide ???

do it before it wears out the Darco material or you will be facing a costly repair if moisture gets into the MDF lining the slide. I tried tape and various coatings but ultimately had to get the slide rebuilt as water wicked down the sides of slide and then along the now porous and torn liner.
Material underside of slide is in good shape, no cracks or holes, want to install stainless steel ahead of any problems. Thanks

RE: Wearing under bedroom slide ???

Most Titanium owners have reinforced with construction grade aluminum. 3/32" is plenty thick.
Do you have a plan for installing??
A

Wearing under bedroom slide ???

The rollers are wearing on the underside of the bedroom slide, I priced stainless 10" by 27" 1/8 thick was told $750. for 2 pieces, seems a bit high, is there an alternate material I can use that's more reasonably priced. Thanks

Slight mold smell in 5er ???

We live in No Calif which has had a lot of rain in Dec. and January is starting out the same way, wife noticed slight mold smell in 5er, there are no leaks and no sign of water in the rig, would it help to turn on the heat to try and get rid of the smell, if so for how long? I would like to air out the rig for a few days but rarely any sun. Any other ideas ? Thanks

RE: Toilet seat cover ???

There are two main sizes of toilet seats whether it be RV or otherwise. One is commonly referred to as round (yours probably) and the other is elongated. Measure the length of yours, go to HomeDepot and find one you like.
I replace the junky plastic ones when my RV's are new.
I measured mine (round) and will go to Lowes or Home Depot, Thanks

RE: Toilet seat cover ???

Have you tried Lowes or Home Depot. Take the cover with you and see if you can match it to one they have. Otherwise Amazon tho finding a good match may be harder. Covers and seats come as a pair usually.
I stand corrected, I am looking for an assembly (seat and cover) not just the cover. Thanks

Toilet seat cover ???

I have a Sealand toilet model SC 210, the assembly (seat and cover) is part #385344089. Called Dometic, they no longer keep these in stock, they gave me a phone # to another co. who wants $150., are you serious. Does anyone know where I might get a toilet seat assembly at a reasonable price. Thanks
