RE: Those with auto leveling systems

I haven’t measured but it looks like my Lippert system jacks have about 6” of stroke. If you’re on a site that uses up 4” of stroke to level front to back, you only have 2” of stroke left for side to side leveling so, before I do anything, I check both ways and if both are way out of level, I block the wheels and save the stroke for front to back. It sux to get the out of stroke code a 1/4” out of level.

RE: Overpass Minimum Height

Ok, this tread has got me all worked up again. I need help creating a national movement to make it mandatory that ALL GAS STATIONS POST CLEARANCE HEIGHTS ON THE ISLAND CANOPIES. I’m dead serious here, I’m 13-2 to the top of the AC and have drove by a lot of stations that that were probably good, it’s a bigger issue traveling cross country with the greater distance between stops. Anyone want to help with a letter campaign or anything else that would help? We need to make a big stink for a small issue.

RE: OnStar Question

When our Saturn was on hospice at 200k, used the onstar to download fault codes a couple times a week. I like that feature. Used it once on the truck when a coil went bad, there was a NAPA at the next stop, 15 min later back on the road. On the fly diagnostics is the cats meow.

RE: Slide out gear pack rollers

I replaced mine with steel rollers found on amazon.how did you find them? I’ve spent a few hours on Amazon all I’ve found is the whole assembly, what’s the magic word?

Slide out gear pack rollers

I Was running a camera wire under the trailer and noticed that one of the rollers next to the slide gear was cracked, this is the gear the slide rail rolls on, continued investigation found that one of the gearpack rollers on the other slide was cracked as well. As it turns out, after spending a lot of time online, you need to buy the whole assembly to replace one plastic ( that’s right, plastic) roller. The whole gearpack assembly cost 45 bucks, I’ll guess the plastic roller is prolly worth 3 bucks max. Anyone else have this problem and find a source for just the roller?

RE: Nascar Follies

To bad the tv coverage looked like click bait. I have a 60" tv and had to watch the race on a 30" square in the middle of a bunch of junk. All I could stand was fast forward to the last 20 laps.

Heard a new one today

Had a new set of tires put on the truck Monday. Checked the pressure today and one tire was down to 20psi from 65. Took it back to the dealer he said that the leak was due to the alloy wheel corroding at the bead, huh...factory wheels with only 100k on them, has anyone else heard this before? Me thinks they scored the wheel with the machine and don't want to fess up.

RE: How do You mount/cover your Portable Generator?

I built a theft proof frame to secure the gennny, then ducted the air supplies and exhaust and weatherproofed it. run it rain or shine and, it would take some serious effort to steal.https://i.imgur.com/NsjDBUVl.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/Mra7Epql.jpg
