RE: Towing

If you get into an accident while towing that much over your weighted limit your insurance company will probably tell you to get lost !!

RE: Coach net vs FMCA road side assist

I have been using Coachnet for 16 years and have called them in some very remote locations, always very responsive. I belong to FMCA but never used their services.

RE: air force one vs roadmaster invisibrake

I've had the Air Force One on my 2003 Safari towing a 2000 Nissan XTerra. Works beautifully. Have towed it 50,000 miles not one problem. Very reliable and it works off of the coach batteries in my set up. Great product !!

RE: Diesel Pusher, side vs rear mount radiator

I have a 2003 Safari rear radiator with a Cat 330 HP engine. Original owner with 58,000 miles on it. Never had a problem with dirt or over heating. I spray wash it after every trip. Runs very cool. Never gets hot climbing mountains. I live at 4,800' and everything is up or down from here. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another rear radiator diesel pusher.

RE: Replacing older mirror

Try Northwest RV supply in Eugene, OR. 1 866 678 7467. They used to buy all of the surplus parts from Monaco. I have bought many parts from them that no one else had, specific to Safari/Monaco.

RE: Monaco

I have a 2003 Safari Cheetah, original owner. No problem with parts from the factory. The front and rear caps are specific to Monaco (or any manufacturer ) This might a problem if I needed a replacement. Haven't had a problem getting parts (haven't needed many). Many parts are not made by the RV manufacturer anyway. My experience has been good.

If in need for diesel/Allison tranny service I highly recommend the the Detroit Diesel/Allison dealer in Reno. Great service and fairly priced.
