RE: Who can be the last poster?

Take the rest of the week off. I have last place under control.

RE: Leaving breakers in the camper on while away?

Maybe it's the CG requesting it? It doesn't make sense to me. I would ask at the CG office, they could have a logical reason.

RE: Opinion: 1991 Fleetwood Southwind 30'

Learn how to read the tire code and determine the age of the tires. RV tires age out before they wear out. Don't just look at the tread depth. Most RVers replace their tires between 6-10 years. A new set of tires would be a big hit to your budget. Factor in a set of new tires if you make an offer.

RE: Disconnect Power When Using Generator?

I always disconnect from shore power before I start the generator, just in case the ATS malfunctions

RE: Recommended Products For Restoring Fiberglass Shell

Here is the instructions for the Zep/Red Max Pro Process. Preparation is the key to a good job. Use the wax of your choice. Not everyone wants to use floor wax on their RV. (it works well on our 96 Southwind)

RE: Selecting a roof coating brand

I used Heng's Rubber Roof Coating on our 96 Southwind a few years ago. It is holding up well to our Pennsylvania winters and summers. Heng's goes on easily, like paint and needs no primer. I used 2 1/2 gallons to put two lights coats on 30' of roof. I'll use Heng's again.

RE: Storage space vs phoney fireplace.

Bob, where did you come by the map in your signature?I'm not sure who Bob is but, you're probably talking about a States Visited Map. Here is one option,

RE: How to price a used fifth wheel.

You were going to give it to a scrapper? Ask the handyman to knock $50-$100 off his price for the work he is doing at your house.

RE: Camping World Accounts

RE: Any good/cheap electric razor for camping?

I bought a $10 electric razor for traveling a few years ago. I forget the brand. It worked great. However, it sounded like a lawnmower with nuts & bolts in the crankcase while running over a pile of tin cans and rocks. You get what you pay for. It still works.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

Did I mention that Frontier has horrible/terrible customer service? The repair techs are fantastic. Thanks to the techs I'm in last place.

RE: Had Americas Tires install new tires BIG PROBLEM

Friend stepped up on valve end of our grey tank and broke the PVC pipe, simply slid a latex glove over break and Gorilla taped it at the campground, never did leak. That's my kind of repair. :C

RE: Travel to/thru Texas

I'm not heading that way but, thanks for the information. My BIL just traveled through Texas a couple days ago. He's not well snd doesn't need the virus on top of his problems.

RE: Had Americas Tires install new tires BIG PROBLEM

Do you have relatively easy access to the broken line? Can it be repaired with Pex snd Sharkbites? I'm not sure if Sharkbites fit the grey lines, hopefully someone else has the answer. I would get it patched up and back on the road. Deal with the legal issues later. If the RV shops are too busy maybe you can find a local plumber?

RE: Should I be concerned about this?

I think Option #1 is the best and simplest choice. Can you push the roof up and run some short lag screws with large washers into the plywood? Or, push the roof up and run the lags into a 2x4 placed along the edge of the roof cutaway. It would be less weight and create a lip to keep things from sliding off the loft. A verticle 2x4 by the passenger seat will get old quickly.

Can you lock two of the wheels to keep them from spinning?

RE: Dogs allowed in camping world

Just get him a vest that says "Service Animal" - like the one I saw at Lowes the other day taking a [email protected] behind a pallet while the owner pretended to be reading a packing label. So, hogs and dogs are allowed in Lowes :@
