RE: New Ford 7.3 V8

I do not get this throw back to the good old days when we had mouse motors and rat motors and little blocks and big blocks. Personally i think that those terms have gone out of style with grannie's high button shoes. I think modern day motors are what their displacement is. :h I agree. It’s why I was wondering why it is being called a “big” block... I read a Ford advertisement. They didn't refer to the new engine as a Big Block. I'm guessing it's the general public and probably some writers who don't know any better using the term Big Block. It took me a while to get accustomed to seeing engine size in liters and not cubic inches. But, Big Block sounds impressive and cool.:C Maybe the term will be around for a long time.

RE: Replace or reseal skylight

Remove, clean away old sealant, inspect skylight and if ok, reseal and reinstall... X2. There's no point replacing a good skylight just becsuse it's a little yellow.

RE: Just curious?

Overall the RV industry should be ashamed of the lack of pride in the product. This is probably the most fitting comment I've ever seen on the forum.

RE: Running Lights Trouble

Get one of these and see if your truck is the problem. Which item are you suggesting? Your link goes to a page of items on Amazon.

RE: Electric Pickup?

How many pickup owners actually haul anything? Looking at all the pickups in my area, it is not many.Very true, seems like most pickup beds are pristine. I think most pickup trucks are just a fad or status symbol.

RE: Repair and epdm roof

Eternabond. Clean the area properly and use a roller to thoroughly activate the adhesive, it'll last longer than your EPDM roof will. X2. If applied properly, Eternabond is a one time repair.

RE: Northshore Mass to Gettysburg PA

Rt 15 in PA runs into Gettysburg and I don’t think it had any such restriction. PA 15 doesn't. CT 15 does. US 15 in PA has no restrictions on RV's.

RE: Mother-In-Law Suite?

Why do the doors look so narrow? It's a rectangular photo squeezed into a square slot. If you copy it to an image viewer you will see it properly displayed. Doesn't make it any prettier though. Okay, thanks. That makes sense. I was thinking photoshop

RE: Truck bed liner on roof

Without a doubt, it, BY FAR, is the best roof an RV could ever have. It's not "flimsy", it's not gonna "catch bridges". Scott I believe Terryallan is referring to the one piece plastic truck bed liner inserts rather than the spray on roof coatings.

RE: Northshore Mass to Gettysburg PA

A Friend suggested 84 threw Fishkill > 81 I-84 to I-81 to US-15 is the route I would pick. It's a little longer but, I chose to not go through or near NYC. You can overnight at the Mohegan Sun Casino, just off I-81, at Wilkes Barre PA if you're looking for a stop.

RE: Local news story made me chuckle (stolen? dog)

If it was stolen to train fighting dogs then it will have a very short life of pain and misery. Not everybody has good intentions. I doubt it will be trained for fighting. But, we don't know the breed of dog. A Chihuahua won't be used for fighting. A Pitbull is a different story. There were probably adoption fees, license, etc. associated with the dog before it went to a new owner. Yes, it is theft. Do experimental labs buy dogs?

RE: Storage in Barn for winter.

Then just leave the battery in the trailer and plugged in. The battery will stay maintained as it should be and ready for use next spring. :) Barney Don't forget to occasionally check the electrolyte levels in the batteries.
