RE: One of the few Australian manufacrurers of 5vers

Don't mean to argue, too much, but white cars show dirt quickly, dark cars not so much. Surfaces are going to collect dirt, color doesn't make any difference, just in how much the dirt is noticed. JMO anyway. We'll just have to agree to disagree. :) I am going to have to agree to disagree with you also. My car and last three trucks were white and they could get VERY dirty before it was noticed. That is one of the reasons I pick white when getting a new vehicle. One of the worst vehicles I ever had for showing dirt was a black sports car. Had to wash it every day and follow that with a light polish. While I loved the car, it was a pain in keester to keep clean! BarneyWell, you guys are all in good company. Peggy also agrees that white is harder to keep clean than dark. I may have to wave the white flag and admit defeat. :)

While I do like the bright look of the white walls, how in the heck do you keep white walls from looking dingy in a very short time. We rarely, if ever, travel over gravel/dirt roads, and our interior still gets dusty and dirty. You'd constantly be wiping down those white walls and ceiling to keep them from looking dirty. Looks good, but seems to me to not be practical in a real world environment, especially if you do travel on dusty roads a lot. Which you do cite as being a frequent occurrence.

RE: How common are fold-up vs "standard" sinks in wet baths?

I honestly can't say that I've ever seen one in a modern motorhome. Maybe in the little ones, with fewer frills, but IMO they send the "cheap" message.

I think a foldup sink would be most common in the low-wall popup campers. TBH I've not seen one in years.

RE: Incredibly Rude People

Seems its the times we live in nowadays. Rude and disrespectful is the way to be for some. The golden rule no longer applies.Nah, not any different. The golden rule still applies: "He who has the gold, makes the rules". "Same as it always was." There's just too many people. Way too many people.

RE: One of the few Australian manufacrurers of 5vers

Not being critical, but just clarifying that it looks like plenty of windows, when it's just two small ones, but the interior shot makes those windows look huge. And that looks like a lot more than 25" because of the depth of field, they all do it. Smaller, fewer windows make sense if the heat is severe. I noticed no roof AC, would they use a heat pump?

"Plenty of windows"? I count 4 small ones, and none in the rear. Depth of field can work wonders, looks huge for 25'. :)

RE: No more training wheels

It's just your idea of prudent, and my idea of prudent are many, many dollars apart. If they were the same price, I would likely consider an air ride hitch. But I sold my last Companion, and bought the one I have now from a guy, and I spent a total of about $100 difference. The B&W does a great job, and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. It's top quality equipment, it's just a couple thousand dollars less. :)

RE: Dead Refrigerator

Shoot, I always try my best to fix anything rather than buy a new one. And I consider a 5-10 year old appliance well worth investing some time and money to get running. I just spent $150 on a used board to get our old clothes dryer working again. It may only be 15 years old, but it's working, and hopefully be good for another 15. Beats the heck out of spending whatever a new dryer costs.

RE: Rain bow

$7 Bud Light is overpriced by about $6.99. Nasty stuff.

I'll keep my Hensley BD-5.Yeah, I think I'll keep my $3,000. :) Even with diesel prices where they are, that will buy a fair amount of fuel.

RE: No more training wheels

Good lord, you B&W fanbois need to take off your blinders once in a while…. It must REALLY kill you that the Andersen is rated for more weight than equivalent B&W.Doesn't bother me at all. I know my B&W can handle the weight it's rated for, never seen one fail. Andersen? Maybe not so much. :) Unless you like that "custom bend". :)

Hard to beat a Texas Roadhouse for a good steak. ...Seriously? Typical franchise food, IMO anyway.
