RE: Men - Get your PSA checked!

That and a colonoscopy. Get checked. Early detection will save your life. Saved mine.

RE: Interspecies Animal Friends

Short story told long. Some many years ago I ended up adopting three hen turkeys our daughter brought home from school. She thought they'd be a fine match for our little flock of Sebrights. Yeah, the chickens and turkeys got along okay.
The inter-species friendship, you ask? You just had to ask, didn't you. Serves you right: Them three hen turkeys and my black & red push mower. Yup, every time I dragged the mower out of the shed them stupid birds would rush to squat next to the mower, as close as they could get to it. And cluck...cluck like they were having a conversation with the mower. For their safety (actually more for my lack of desire to clean up a bloody & feathery mess in the yard) I had to carry them into the coop and lock them up until I was done mowing. I could write a book about my years of adventures with those three stupid birds.

RE: Sometimes you don't need to camp to see critters...

Too cool!
Initially I thought this was going to be about what you might see in Walmart at 2am!

RE: Are RV sewer hose supports necessary?

No, not necessary. We use one whenever the hose isn't all-downhill from RV to sewer pipe, which is probably +90% of the time.

RE: Parking brake not staying engaged on Winnebago vista

at the emergency brake pedal is a ratchet can stick take wd40 and spray it down move release handle back and forth see if this works
Better, use a dry silicone lubricant. WD40 isn't a lubricant and as it dries it gets sticky and collects 'stuff'.

RE: Solo fire pit

Love ours. Few years ago camping neighbors had an alternate brand. At DW's insistence that's the one we bought. All black - she liked more than the "white" stainless. And it's a bit smaller. We burn tree trimmings, 1-3" diameter, mostly oak and pecan.
