RE: Route 46 in NJ

There are detours in effect for Rt 46. I suggest you call the campground and ask as they would have better up to date information. If you are coming in from Rt 31, you should be OK as Rt 46 should be fine to Triplebrook.

RE: looking for a camp ground in eastern N. Carolina for winter

Don’t know about the whole season, but maybe. Try looking in to Green Acres in Washington, NC. I know that people are there long term. It is a small, family owned place that we love.

RE: How to Restore Old Fiberglass

Suggest you search this site for posts on Red Max Pro or ZEP wet look floor finish. These are floor care products available from Home Depot or Lowes. Milky liquid that is easy to apply and gives a shiny finish that last for a long time. I have been using it for the past 20 years on many different Fiberglas motor homes with great success.

RE: Just Switched from Verizon to T-Mobile

Agree with everything said so far. I too switched to TMobile after many years with Verizon. Don’t know what has changed with Verizon, but T Mobile is beating them at their own game!

RE: New Class C vs Used Class A

I second the opinion of RickTheRealtor, when comparing the quality of Four Winds/Thor to Winnebago, there is no comparison. Makes the decision for the Winnebago a no brainer!

RE: Can’t remove AC cover for maintenance

Rusty—tried that. The screw turns, but it also turns the female threads which should be stationary in the AC body. No matter how much upward pressure I apply, both the screw and the threads both turn together.

RE: Can’t remove AC cover for maintenance

PS—screws are stainless and the female thread is iron and are built in to the AC itself.

Can’t remove AC cover for maintenance

The screws that hold the AC cover on—I can’t get one out. When I try to remove it, the female threads, which are under the AC cover, spin along with the screw. Tried penetrating oil, pulling up on the AC cover, and putting a piece of wire under the screw head and pulling up. Before I grind off the screw head to the the AC cover off to oil fan and general cleaning, does anyone have any better ideas to get that one screw out?

RE: Finding a long-term, month-to-month type RV site?

Suggest you try Lake Aire in Hollywood, SC which is just outside the Charleston city limits. Very nice small park with amenities. They have a section where they have longer term residents. Good Luck!
